Country Lakes Estates in Winter Garden Florida is not gated. Country Lakes Estates is a medium sized community which has lakefront homes on both Black Lake and Lake Tilden to the south. Those two lakes are connected and it is easy to take a medium sized boat from lake to lake.
As you first pull up to the Country Estates entrance you realize this is not the typical community. It just feels and looks different and in a good way to most first-time visitors and residents. The yards here are larger than what you find in new home communities and the houses are spaced a little further apart. This is truly a charming and mature neighborhood.
Large mature trees provide shade as you are invited to make the drive around the community loop which consists of Country Estate Drive, Lake Tilden Boulevard and Cross Country Road.
As for amenities there is a 9+ acre open area on the southwest part of the neighborhood. Here you will find a neighborhood boat ramp with plenty of room, sports courts and small pavilion. This area is larger than the park which is in Black Lake Park to the north.
The homes are a little older than many within the city. Most were built between 1983 and 2003. Still, they are gorgeous and the location is supreme. The largest is just over 5,000 square feet. The only bad thing about this neighborhood is they seldom become available for sale or lease. That is unfortunate for those who are looking for a prestigious lakefront residence.
The community entrance is on Winter Garden Vineland Road. Just across the street are stores, service providers and restaurants. Within 1 mile you will be at the Winter Garden Village and the local Orlando area turnpike. When you return home you will be in your own peaceful slice of heaven.
